According to Oriental Daily's report today , UMNO , MCA and Gerakan will deploy 1 to 1 strategy and will go all out in full force to garner Chinese's votes in the coming " the mother of all by- elections"in Permatang Pauh. The report mentions that, if Barisan Nasional(BN) can garner additional 8,000 from Chinese voters, they can win this election comfortably. The additional 8,000 votes will come from Seberang Jaya(3,500 votes), Permatang Pasir(2,500 votes) and Penanti (2,500 votes).
There are 14,482 votes or 24.7 % Chinese votes in Permatang Pauh.
My advice to Chinese voters, please think carefully. Firstly, please compare the performance of 5 state governments controlled by Pakatan Rakyat with BN- controlled states. More importantly, we are voting for next Malaysian Prime Minister who can bring transformation to this country.
